Newcastle Australia’s Graduate Employment Survey Findings for the Class of 2025

The Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education has published its latest Graduate Employment Survey for the Class of 2025, providing valuable insights into graduate career outcomes, earning potential and professional progression. The results reflect the institution’s continued focus on preparing graduates for success across diverse industries.

Outcomes for the Class of 2025

According to the survey, 91% of graduates had secured employment by the time of data collection. Of these, 72.7% were in full-time roles, while 12.1% had pursued self-employment. In terms of earnings, over 83% reported monthly salaries exceeding SGD $3,500. Career progression was also evident, with 87.1% of respondents holding positions at mid-level or above, including managerial, executive, C-suite, or director-level positions. Additionally, 13.3% of employed graduates reported receiving promotions, and 27.6% experienced salary increases.

Robust and Representative Data

The survey was conducted by independent research firm JL Resources from 20 March to 6 April 2026. Covering graduates from all PEI programmes, it achieved a response rate of 72%, supporting the reliability and representativeness of the findings.
