Newcastle Australia’s Graduate Employment Survey Findings for the Class of 2024

The Newcastle Australia Institute of Higher Education has released its latest Graduate Employment Survey results for the Class of 2024, offering a comprehensive look at employment outcomes, salaries, and overall graduate success. The findings highlight the university’s strong reputation for producing career-ready graduates across a wide range of disciplines.

Graduate Employment Outcomes 2024

The survey showed that 84% of graduates were employed at the time of completing the survey, with 73.7% in full-time positions and 10.5% engaged in self-employment. More than 87% of graduates reported a monthly income above SGD $3,500, with 47% of respondents attaining senior, managerial, executive, C-suite, or director-level positions. Beyond employment and salary results, graduate satisfaction was also reflected in the survey, with 42% of participants indicating they would recommend the program to their peers (9-10 on a scale of 1-10).

Conducted independently by JL Resources between 12 and 31 March 2025, the Graduate Employment Survey covered graduates across all PEI programs and achieved a 66% response rate, ensuring representative findings.
