About the Course
NVivo is qualitative software that supports the research process from the literature review stage through to the presentation of one’s findings. You can work with a wide range of qualitative data sources, including text, multimedia, closed- and open-ended surveys, internet data, and metadata from reference software managers. With AI integration, NVivo generates quick summaries of your literature review and empirical data that highlight the main ideas across sources and surface emerging trends.
This NVivo Master Course teaches you to use NVivo in line with the key concepts of qualitative data analysis and qualitative research, so your use is coherent with your qualitative methodology, the theory that informs your study and methods of data collection. From a software perspective, you will learn to set up an NVivo project, conduct a literature review, code qualitative data by themes and cases, identify patterns and relationships, and present your findings using evocative displays that convey key messages to your audience. From a methodological perspective, you’ll learn to implement your research design efficiently using NVivo’s features and get the most out of your data by developing strategic coding and analysis skills.
Who Should Attend
- Researchers who are familiar with qualitative work in academia, government, or NGOs seeking advanced analysis skills
- Not suitable for master’s students or early-stage PhD candidates
