About the Course

This workshop introduces participants to practical applications of generative AI for enhancing personal and workplace productivity, efficiency, and creativity. 

Participants will learn how to use tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Gamma, Canva and Claude safely and effectively, apply prompt engineering techniques, and leverage AI for tasks including writing, research, communication, and problem-solving. The session also explores AI-driven creativity for presentations and content creation, along with real-world workplace use cases and responsible AI practices.

By the end of the workshop, participants will gain hands-on skills to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and confidently adopt AI in their daily work and personal tasks.

Requirements

  • A personal laptop (recommended), tablet or smart phone for hands-on experiences
  • Basic digital literacy (familiarity with using web browsers and online tools)
  • Active accounts for major AI tools, such as ChatGPT / Google Gemini / Microsoft Copilot
  • Willingness to participate in interactive activities and practical exercises
