Biography

Dr Jarina Peer holds a Doctorate of Philosophy from Curtin University of Technology, Australia, a Master of Education from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. Her educational journey incudes a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP V2) from the Institute of Adult Learning, Singapore, a Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Distinction) from the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She commenced her academic journey with a Bachelor of Science from the National University of Singapore. Dr Jarina’s teaching and learning experience includes an impressive 27-year career dedicated to education across all levels of learning—from primary education to adult learning, encompassing mainstream, gifted, and special education. Her roles have been as diverse as her expertise, ranging from dedicated teacher to senior educator, innovative teaching fellow, curriculum specialist, visionary Head of Research and Sessional Lecturer. Dr Jarina embodies the spirit of a lifelong learner and a dedicated educator, poised to lead the way in shaping the future of education through innovation, inclusivity, and a profound dedication to excellence.
