Biography

Dr Barry Tse is a research psychologist and lecturer who has spent more than 30 years applying behavioural science to leadership, work, and consumer contexts across the Asia‑Pacific and beyond. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate psychology and business courses in Singapore, drawing on both academic and industry experience to support student learning and development. Having lived and worked across Singapore, Melbourne, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Shanghai, Dr Tse takes a culturally embedded approach to research, shaped by many years of conducting organisational and consumer studies across the Asia‑Pacific and internationally. He has also been an entrepreneur and served on the board of a global alliance of independent market research and opinion polling firms.

Dr Tse is a Fellow of Advance HE (FHEA) and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM), and holds qualifications in mindfulness‑based approaches that inform his teaching and research.
