What You Will Study

To complete the program, students must pass modules totalling 80 units.
Consisting of 30 units of core modules, 30 units of compulsory modules and 20 units of directed modules. 
Each module is 10 units unless stated otherwise.

Entry Requirements

Minimum Academic Level

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;

    or
  • A Bachelor Honours Degree in a relevant field;

    or
  • Graduate Certificate/Graduate Diploma (in a relevant field) where minimum entry requirements must be a minimum of bachelor degree;

    or
  • Successful completion of the UON Graduate Certificate in Special and Inclusive Support;

    or
  • At least 30 years old with 8 years of relevant work experience in a related field/discipline*

Related fields/discipline areas are: Teaching, Early Childhood educator, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social worker, Mental health care worker, Disability support worker, Community care worker, Art and Music therapy

Minimum Language Proficiency

Applicants for this program must satisfy a minimum English Language Proficiency Standard equivalent to an IELTS overall minimum of 6.5 with no subtest result below 6.0.

Fees are subjected to prevailing Goods and Service Tax (GST) and are payable on a modular basis before commencement of Trimester. The fees include all course materials but exclude textbooks (if applicable). Refer here for other miscellaneous fees.
